After much haggling I bought it, I couldn't just leave it there. I powered it up this afternoon and connected it to an amp, and it played great, in AM and FM. The only thing I could find wrong with it is the magic eye is not working properly, and it has no outer cover. I'm going to put it up for sale as it's a bit new for my taste, about 1964. I think.

It's £25.00 If any one is interested let me know.

Thanks.
http://www.vintageradiomart.co.uk/category/FOR_SALE:_Radio_Tuners/ht96zjzgkj.htm 17 Aug 2015 05:26 +0000 Ever Ready Sky Prince
EVER READY SKY PRINCE

This battery powered radio is an Ever Ready Sky Prince. I don't know much about it, but as far as I can see, it looks to be complete. I have no idea if it's working as i haven't powered it up. It looks like it's been in storage for some time and will need a good going over, the case will also need some restoration. Well worth saving. I haven't seen another.

On The back of the Radio it states: Use Ever Ready B136 Battery or Super Capacity B137 Both available Everywhere!

"I don't think so"

Anyway I'm looking for around £18.00 For this Battery powered piece of history.
http://www.vintageradiomart.co.uk/category/FOR_SALE_Vintage_Radios/q1n01pm64l.htm 26 Jul 2015 04:57 +0000 Germanium Diode
Getting a sound out of a Germanium Diode. I wanted the magic eye and a couple of other parts out of it. Unfortunately when i got it home and plugged it in i found it to be in full working order, and far to good to break up, so have decided to sell it on. The only thing i can find wrong with it is the sponge pads on the lid that hold the reels down when you close the lid have perished, so will need replacing. Also included in the sale are two new and unopened tapes and a spare reel and data sheet.

Looking for £35.00. ovno SOLD
http://www.vintageradiomart.co.uk/category/FOR_SALE:_Tape_Recorders/j295upn35q.htm 18 Jul 2015 11:43 +0000 Pilot Radio
Pilot Radio Chassis

I bought this old Radio chassis at a swap meet for £1.00 I couldn't resist it. I thought the rectifier valve was worth that. All I know about it is it's a Pilot Radio. Unfortunately the case had been completely consumed by woodworm. I was very surprised to find on powering it up with a variac it still worked.

If any one out there knows what model this might be, or if any one wants it to restore, make me an offer.

Thanks for looking
http://www.vintageradiomart.co.uk/category/FOR_SALE:Spares_Parts_Components/astncm4i8c.htm 13 Jul 2015 13:27 +0000 GEC Model BC635 Receiver
GEC Model BC635 Receiver

I bought this old GEC radio at a BVWS swap meet. It's one of the best sounding valve radios I have heard. Loud as well, and the reception is absolutely brilliant. The case is in good condition, as is the back. The mains socket on the back is just a two pin socket so could do with up dating. Anyway it's a cracking radio.

Anyone interested let me know.

Thanks for looking.
http://www.vintageradiomart.co.uk/category/FOR_SALE_Vintage_Radios/ntgmo4d04v.htm 13 Jul 2015 09:57 +0000
